AIESHA ROBINSON

Aiesha Robinson, a 28-year old native of Montreal, Canada, is a prime example of rising above adversity and turning a perceived negative into a positive. At the tender age of 18 – Robinson was diagnosed with the skin condition known as ‘Vitiligo’. Before her diagnosis, Robinson was having difficulties finding her true identity and with the addition of her losing her pigment, things only got more complicated. However, Robinson was able to snap out of her depressive state and continued living her life in a positive manner. Through her hardships, she’s become the founder & chief executive of 'Born To Rise', an accomplished speaker and community activist. Her life's mission has now become helping individuals power-through any obstacle they may encounter. Robinson is also a published model, public speaker, social influencer and spokesperson for spreading Vitiligo awareness.
Robinson's mission as BTR's founder is to spread the BTR message within schools, boys & girls clubs, camps and social media through the sharing of her personal struggle and acceptance of living with vitiligo. Furthermore, Aiesha strives to promote an important dialogue to support the empowerment of youth by giving them a platform to share their own stories. With the help of generous contributors, BTR will reach a diverse audience dealing with relatable issues. The goal is to help the masses RISE against all odds and empower themselves by developing a community to support and foster the important dialogue that is created by BTR.
